Short people want to grow taller because they feel that taller people have an advantage over them due to height factor. Tall persons have better career advancements and exude confidence while short people lack self confidence and are often ridiculed by others especially during their formative years which may have psychological impact on the child and may be further carried over when they grow. Indian origin 'yoga' is hailed as a disciplinary exercise that has helped many people in correcting their postures effectively and in the alignment of the spinal cord. There is another school of thought which believes that the right kind of nutrition would be the answer to grow taller; this is partially true. Growth foods like eggs, soya bean, oatmeal etc. are rich in protein and oat meal is low in fat content. Calcium is a must for bones. A balanced diet with strict regimen on physical exercises will help to some extent. Growth hormone pills or injections should never be administered without the consent or prescription of a doctor. There are 'height enhancement' packages that serve as guides to grow taller.
