Short people want to grow taller because they feel that taller people have an advantage over them due to height factor. Tall persons have better career advancements and exude confidence while short people lack self confidence and are often ridiculed by others especially during their formative years which may have psychological impact on the child and may be further carried over when they grow. To bring back their self esteem and to build their self worth, they try all avenues to grow taller and sometimes it does pay!Why are some people short and some taller? There could be several factors contributing to this 'short factor'. A major cause could be inheritance of genes which is passed on to generations; for some it could be environmental or it could be something to do with nutrition.
